Pelago Bioscience is a leading biotechnology company that specializes in the development of innovative proteomics solutions. As part of our ongoing efforts to advance the field, we are seeking an experienced Senior Scientist to lead the development of our proteomics capabilities.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in proteomics and experience in designing and executing complex experiments. They will be responsible for developing and implementing novel proteomics workflows, collaborating with our R&D team to drive the advancement of our technical platforms, and presenting results to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of novel proteomics workflows and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with our R&D team to design and execute comprehensive proteomics experiments.
  • Develop and implement novel data analysis pipelines and tools to streamline the data analysis process.
  • Present results to cross-functional teams, including biologists, drug discovery scientists, and computational scientists.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Biophysics, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and executing proteomics experiments and workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
