Structural Integrity Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Structural Integrity Specialist to join our team at Heart Aerospace. As a key member of our Airframe & Interiors team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our aircraft, from concept design to final delivery.

  • Develop and implement methodologies for stress analysis and optimization of composite structures.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of composite material behavior, laminate theory, and ply-by-ply failure criteria, with expertise in FEA tools like NASTRAN, Hypermesh, HyperX. Experience working with aerospace design software (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX, Fibersim) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and analysis of composite structures for performance, manufacturing, and weight reduction.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure composite structures meet project specifications.
  3. Develop and implement novel solutions for stress analysis and optimization using advanced manufacturing technologies.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in stress analysis of composite materials in the aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency in FEA tools like NASTRAN, Hypermesh, HyperX.
  • Specialized coursework or certification in composite structures, stress analysis, or finite element methods is a plus.
