About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics to join our dynamic research environment at Mälardalen University. This position offers an exciting opportunity for you to conduct research and teaching in mathematics, taking your academic career to the next level.

Job Description
  • Conduct research in the field of third-cycle studies (PhD studies) in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, focusing on a specific research project.
  • Institutional duties may include teaching at undergraduate and advanced levels, supervision, administration, and development of programs and courses.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree at an advanced level with at least 240 higher education credits, including 60 at an advanced level.
  • 90 credits in the subject area of Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, with 60 credits at an advanced level.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
