About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunication Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Vantara Corporation.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience working in the field of Telecom, Networking, and preferably Cyber Security knowledge.

Certification in Cyber Security and involvement in designing cyber secure networks is an added advantage.

Involvement in both engineering and commissioning activities in previous roles is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

1. You will be technically responsible for the telecom design, network design, and supplier coordination for our deliveries.
2. Collaboration skills are key in this role, working in overall tender and project teams and together with our customers and partners.
3. Lead the design and technical solutions based on industry best practices, ensuring a high level of base solutions and re-use between projects is achieved.
4. Technical risks and associated mitigative actions are a key part of your work to ensure a final result meeting the contractual requirements.
5. You will ensure that specifications and guidelines are developed and used by our partners to make the projects well defined and allow for clear change handling.
6. You are eager to learn and implement experiences from others as well as your work and have a mindset towards continuous improvement.
