Head of Security Strategy

We are seeking a highly experienced Deputy Head of Security to join our team at Saab BA Surveillance. The successful candidate will play a leading role in shaping the security strategy for our business area, ensuring we maintain a strong global presence and stay ahead of emerging threats.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned security professional to take on a senior leadership position within our organization. As Deputy Head of Security, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective security strategies that meet the demands of tomorrow. Your key focus areas will include risk and compliance management, crisis response, and strategic initiatives within all security functions.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including other functions, business units, and government authorities. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Oversee risk and compliance management from a strategic perspective, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of security and integrity.
- Manage crisis response at the Business Area level, including contributions to Group Crisis Management.
- Represent the Head of Security Surveillance in relevant forums and stakeholder meetings.
- Guide and support all aspects of the security function, including personnel management, work environment, and budgeting.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of experience in security leadership, with a strong understanding of Saab's security routines and processes. You must also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong networks and relationships both internally and externally.
Familiarity with Swedish protective security regulations and international security standards is highly desirable. You will also need to demonstrate good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
A university degree or equivalent competence acquired through work life experience in security risk management, crisis management, and/or similar fields is required. We are looking for a true team player who can prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain high levels of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
