Maintenance Planner Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to join our team at Autoliv. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance processes, including ordering parts, managing vendors, and coordinating with contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order and manage inventory of stocked parts and spare parts
  • Coordinate with vendors for VMI and bench stock
  • Issue parts for contractors and interns
  • Manage PPE and supply PPE for new hires
  • Process work orders for in-house parts
  • Manage rebuild shop and prioritize work
  • Coordinate with experts for pump rebuilds
  • Transfer bench stock to counted stock in JDE
  • Receive and deliver parts as required
  • Track and resolve discrepancies

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards and Leading to Lean preferred
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Good listening skills and ability to work independently
