Position Overview
The Energy division is in search of a Manager to spearhead the partnership and investment initiatives that will drive Alfa Laval's Energy division towards achieving net zero goals. This role entails global responsibility for the division's strategy and execution related to partnerships and investments, working closely with our Cleantech organization, executive leadership, and Corporate Development. This position is pivotal for establishing the division as a thought leader in the energy transition.
To position Alfa Laval as a leader in energy transformation, strategic partnerships and investments—including minority stakes, joint ventures, and mergers & acquisitions—are essential. Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, proactive communication, and strong business acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee the divisional strategy for strategic partnerships and investments, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and minority stake investments. Collaborate with the executive management team to build and manage the divisional investment pipeline in conjunction with Corporate Development. Prioritize and lead the execution of strategic investment projects to define Alfa Laval's investment and partnership strategy in targeted cleantech applications and technologies. Work closely with Corporate Development on due diligence for investment opportunities. Partner with the CleanTech organization and executive management to create a future pipeline and establish new strategic partnerships. Collaborate with executive teams and the CleanTech organization to manage and track the progress of workstreams within the divisional strategic partnership portfolio. Lead and manage CleanTech startup networks, such as CleanTech Scandinavia, and represent Alfa Laval in CleanTech Venture forums.This position is based in Lund and reports to the Head of Clean Technologies, VP of the Energy Division.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is passionate about clean technologies and is committed to leveraging technology to facilitate the transition to net zero. You possess a positive, customer-focused attitude with a results-driven approach and strong strategic business insight. Additionally, you are organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining focus.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a senior project manager with experience in engaging stakeholders across various contexts, fostering trust and strong relationships with a humble and approachable demeanor. You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, a proactive communication style, and the capability to guide processes towards value-driven decisions.
A Master's Degree in Business or Engineering is preferred, along with several years of experience in an industrial and international setting. Proficiency in verbal and written English communication is essential.
