Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Manual QA Lead to join our team at TEKsystems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven track record of ensuring the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of manual QA testers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of all system requirements and functionalities.
- Collaborate closely with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and identify potential quality issues early in the development cycle.
- Execute manual test cases, document test results, and track defects to closure, ensuring that all issues are accurately reported and resolved.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes to enhance overall product quality and team efficiency.
- Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress, defect metrics, and overall quality health of the project.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing and quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
