The Role:
As a Hardware Engineer at Yubico, you will be part of the team that takes new ideas from prototypes to mass-producible hardware. You will be responsible for designing and developing secure embedded hardware for security devices, analyzing hardware designs for manufacturability, security, and reliability, and working cross-functionally with software, mechanical, and production teams to develop integrated solutions.
- Design and develop secure embedded hardware for security devices using EDA tools (OrCAD, Altium)
- Create and optimize PCB layouts for manufacturability and production readiness
- Perform hardware debugging using JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
- Develop and execute in-circuit and functional tests to validate hardware reliability
- Implement security best practices (TPM, UEFI, Secure Boot, TrustZone) in hardware design
