Role Overview

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will spearhead initiatives to drive growth by identifying and securing new clientele for the Branch/Area. Duties and Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Managing customer interactions, including nurturing relationships, making calls, and finalizing deals.
- Utilizing CRM tools to identify, contact, and monitor prospects to uncover core and strategic customer opportunities.
- Visiting clients and potential customers within the designated territory 3 to 4 days per week.
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
- Engaging with various levels of decision-makers to comprehend customers' business challenges and supply chain objectives.
- Contributing to the regional team by consistently achieving new net revenue targets and sharing insights, ideas, and best practices to support the overall success of the sales team and the Branch.
- Planning and conducting face-to-face meetings with prospective customers within the Branch territory.
- Maintaining a strong commercial presence in the local market by participating in or presenting at regional events.
- Staying engaged with customers to foster relationships and ensure the ongoing success of accounts in collaboration with the assigned Account Executive/Account Manager.
- Following up on sales leads generated by overseas offices or assigned by your Sales Manager.
- Coordinating quotes with your Sales Coordinator (if applicable) and facilitating the transition of new customers to the local Account Executive/Account Manager.
Qualifications
Required:
- A minimum of 4 years of sales experience in a freight forwarding context.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, at least 3 to 4 days per week.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred:
- Advanced understanding of logistical concepts and supply chain terminology.
- Ability to communicate in multiple European languages.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Capability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook and a focus on high quality and business profitability.
- A keen sense for business development with a strong 'hunter' mentality.
- Ability to develop and maintain robust inter-company relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
