Galvanizing Line Supervisor

We're looking for a seasoned professional to oversee and manage the operations of our galvanizing line. As the Galvanizing Line Supervisor, you'll be responsible for ensuring efficient and safe production processes, while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the galvanizing process.

• You will supervise a team of operators and technicians, coordinating various stages of the galvanizing process, from surface preparation to quality control measures.
• Quality assurance is crucial in this role, as you'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining strict quality standards, monitoring adherence to specifications, conducting inspections, and addressing any issues that may impact the final product.

This role reports directly to the Head of Steel Mill and requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation mill systems. You'll also be expected to lead cross-functional teams and projects, drive innovation, and advancement, and foster an inclusive organizational culture.

1. Broad operational responsibility for personnel, health, safety, environment, performance, and budget within the production department.
2. Lead the organization in achieving goals and objectives, monitor progress toward achieving them, and ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.
3. Develop and implement process control and safety practices, contribute to a safe work environment, and participate in the upkeep of these practices.
4. Ensure efficient, safe, and quality-controlled processes, and follow up on operations to achieve these objectives.

As a successful candidate, you'll possess a relevant degree in engineering or equivalent experience in industrial manufacturing organizations. Experience in startups and galvanized ZnMg continuous annealing processes is preferred. You'll also have strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to drive innovation and advancement.
