Job Title: Construction Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team at Energy Jobline. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in implementing the Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Plan.
  • Support in developing the construction schedule and site resource planning.
  • Help establish and manage project site facilities.
  • Work with site teams to ensure contracts are executed safely, on budget, and on schedule.
  • Assist in overseeing the administration of site contracts.
  • Monitor site performance and ensure safety and quality standards are upheld.
  • Participate in reviews of the HSSE Plan and ensure that all safety equipment and PPE are appropriate and effective.
  • Take part in assurance activities, including risk assessments and job hazard analysis sessions.
  • Ensure the availability of resources and support for meeting HSE objectives.

Critical Skills & Personal Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Some relevant experience or internships in construction management or related roles; familiarity with FEED-EPC projects in industries like oil & gas, petrochemical, or chemical is a plus.
  • Basic leadership and team coordination abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Basic conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in managing evolving project requirements.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to learning and contributing to project success.
