EHS Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the EHS Manager in ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Workplace Legislation.
• Work with the Project Manager and Construction Team to implement the Integrated Management System.
• Ensure the site has a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan in place.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in High-Risk Activities (HRA's) and control them on site.
• Develop Risk Assessment & Method Statements.
• Develop SOP's and provide training and communication to site personnel.
• Promote the 'Suir Way' and its interfaces with Health & Safety.
• Report and investigate incidents, identifying root causes and mitigating actions.

Requirements

• A Relevant Health and Safety Diploma or Degree and at least 2 years' experience in Environmental Health and Safety.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Prioritise workload according to deadlines and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Influence colleagues at all levels.
• Enjoy working as part of a high-performing team.
