Job Description

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Inter IKEA Group, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative lighting products and components that meet our high standards of quality and design.

Your primary focus will be on creating mechanical/electrical solutions for luminaires and light sources, using your expertise in SolidWorks and PLM tools to drive the product development process.

You will work closely with our development team and suppliers worldwide to plan and conduct projects, delivering ready products and components with comprehensive documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who can demonstrate:

  • A University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design engineering, including drawing techniques, technical solutions, and design for manufacturing and production techniques
  • Experience working with 3D CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks
  • Familiarity with part-centric structure and PLM tools
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to transfer knowledge, concepts, and ideas into mechanical design solutions
