Job Title: PYP Homeroom Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and qualified homeroom teacher to join our team at the International School of the Stockholm Region (ISSR). The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in the Primary Years Programme (PYP), which is an inquiry-based and transdisciplinary program with a student-centered focus.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan, teach, and document high-quality inquiry-based learning experiences for students
  • Differentiate instruction according to students' needs
  • Provide a structured and engaging learning environment
  • Plan and collaborate with colleagues in the PYP Team and across the school
  • Participate in school activities and maintain ongoing parent/school communication regarding students' development
Requirements:
  • Certified primary school teacher homeroom teacher (5-11 year olds)
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (academic level)
  • IB Primary Years Programme homeroom teacher experience (desirable)
  • Experience working in an international school setting (desirable)
  • High competence with IT learning tools
