The Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Senior Frontend UI Developer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about crafting seamless and engaging user experiences in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Frontend UI Developer, you will collaborate closely with both Product Managers and ML/Data Engineers to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for Hyperbrain to make complex AI-driven data accessible.

You will be responsible for building easy-to-use and interactive UI web/app experiences in a fast-paced startup environment with limited development infrastructure. Your focus will be on UI design that drives business value through AI and data, always aiming to deliver the best user experience.

  • Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly UI components, ensuring consistency across the platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define design specifications.
  • Work with API integrations or UI implementation with new data sources and interfaces.
  • Design and implement data and interactions feedback loops to improve the quality of Hyperbrain AI.
  • Implement tracking and analytics for new features to measure performance and contribute to overall company success.
  • Rapidly prototype to validate ideas and gather early feedback.
  • Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning and design to building, testing, and deploying.
  • Own problems end-to-end, and be willing to pick up whatever knowledge you're missing to get the job done.
Requirements
  • Strong frontend engineering skills in building end-to-end web/apps, including experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating APIs.
  • Versatile Software Engineering Skills: A solid engineering background with a robust foundation in software engineering principles. You have written code for and supported production engineering systems.
  • Proficient in React and TypeScript: Our tech stack utilizes React, TypeScript, Ant Design, Firebase, and Sentry.
  • Excellent visual, UI, motion, and interactive design skills. Eye for good design, attention to detail, and a genuine love for the craft. A portfolio showcasing a range of technical skills, a creative use of code, and prototyping skills, is a strong plus.
  • Ability to utilize SQL to directly access and manage databases, supporting the delivery of valuable customer insights.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

  • Experience with Bundlers, Browser APIs, and Chrome extensions.
  • Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Experience working with Redux or other state management systems.
