**Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Automation and Medical Device Technician to join our team at Perten Instruments AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, adjustment, repair, and maintenance of electronic, mechatronic, electromechanical, or mechanical equipment and PLC controls.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Install, adjust, repair, and perform preventive maintenance of equipment and PLC controls
  • Use troubleshooting equipment to assist in problem-solving
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute workload according to focus area requirements

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair equipment and instruments to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, inspecting, and testing equipment
  • Assist with technical expertise in the evaluation and decision-making process for necessary adjustments in the PM plan

Qualifications:

  • Three-year technical degree or equivalent related work experience
  • One year's experience in installation, adjustment, maintenance, and repair of equipment or experience deemed equivalent
  • Computer skills and ability to read and work from drawings, schematic diagrams, and manuals
