The role of a Supervisor/Working Foreman involves overseeing and working alongside our team at the construction sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in concrete construction, including formwork, reinforcing, pouring, and finishing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and coordination of team activities
  • Interpreting blueprints and construction plans to determine project requirements
  • Directing placement, consolidation, and finishing of concrete
  • Supervising assembly and removal of formwork
  • Inspecting quality of work performed to ensure it meets specifications and standards
  • Training and mentoring crew members in safe construction practices and equipment usage
  • Enforcing compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Coordinating with other trade supervisors for efficient resource utilization
  • Providing hands-on assistance with concrete placement and finishing as needed
  • Monitoring and managing resources, including materials, tools, and equipment
  • Communicating effectively with project management on project status and any issues

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification or associate degree in construction management is a plus
  • Good English language skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete construction with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • In-depth knowledge of concrete construction techniques, tools, and equipment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans
  • Familiarity with construction software and project management tools
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
