Vattenfall seeks a motivated and detail-oriented researcher to investigate the corrosion behavior of Ni-based alloys in Boiling Water Reactors (BWRs). This project will focus on understanding the complex interactions between Ni-based alloys, water chemistry, operating conditions, and radiation effects. The goal is to provide valuable insights that can inform the development of more efficient and corrosion-resistant materials for use in BWR applications.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in materials science or a related field, with experience in corrosion research and electrochemistry. They will be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner. Collaboration with other researchers and industry experts is expected.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in materials science or a related field

- Full-time position
- Location: Solna/Uppsala, Sweden
- Job Type: Masters project in materials science, 20 weeks with 30 credits
- Estimated Salary: SEK 42000-52000 per month
