Security Executive

Driving transformation within the security domain at our largest and most complex business area is a key role that you can take. Here, security is a top management priority, crucial for competitiveness, profitability, and trust on a challenging global market.

Your Position

Our Business Area Surveillance seeks a senior Security Professional.

This role involves working in an international environment where advanced security threats are part of everyday business alongside complex business environments and projects with high impact.

You will be part of leading, coordinating, and transforming all areas of the security function at BA Surveillance to meet demands of tomorrow. You will drive strategic work, prioritize, and decide in all areas, coordinate, and liaise with other functions, business units, internal and external parties. You will report to the BA Head of Security and represent Surveillance Security and Head of Security when needed. Managerial responsibility for personnel, work environment, and budget remains with the Head of Security.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Lead Strategic Initiatives and Operational Efforts Within All Security Functions.
  2. Oversee Risk and Compliance Management from a Strategic Perspective.
  3. Manage Crisis Response at the Business Area Level, Including Contributions to Group Crisis Management.
  4. Represent the Head of Security Surveillance in Relevant Forums.
  5. Guide and Support All Aspects of the Security Function.
Requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Proven Experience from Leading in a Strategic Context.
  • Strong Knowledge of Our Security Routines and Processes.
  • Able to Build and Maintain Strong Networks and Relationships, Both Internally and Externally.
  • University Degree or Equivalent Competence Acquired through Work Life Experience in Security Risk Management, Crisis Management, and/or Similar.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Experience in Working with Operational Management.
  • Experience from Working with Swedish Protective Security, Including All Aspects.
  • Good Communication Skills in English, Verbal and Written.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous Experience in a Security Role Within Our Organization.
  • Experience from Working Within Government Authorities or in a Global Context, Including Understanding of Security Demands and Requirements in the Business Process.
  • Familiarity with Security Regulations in Contracts, Both Within Sweden and Internationally.
  • Experience from Working with Incident Handling and/or Incident Investigations.

Personal Qualities Will Be of Great Importance; You Are a True Team Player, Always Focusing on the Team's Results and Supporting the Business and the Company.

It Is Paramount That You Are Trustworthy, with Strong Ethics and Personal Integrity, and Understand the Need for Balanced Security in a Business-Driven Environment.

This Position Requires That You Pass a Security Vetting Based on the Current Regulations Around Security Protection. For Positions Requiring Security Clearance, Additional Obligations on Citizenship May Apply.

Our Business Area Surveillance Provides Efficient Solutions for Safety and Security, for Surveillance and Decision Support, and for Threat Detection and Protection, Both for the Military and Civilian Domain. The Portfolio Covers Airborne, Ground-Based, and Naval Radar, Electronic Warfare, Combat Systems, and C4I Solutions, Civilian Security Solutions, and More.

The Security Function at Business Area Surveillance Is a Team Consisting of Several Competences Such as Security Protection, Security Administration, Information Security, and Security Risk Management. You Will Work in Many of These Fields and Be Based at One of Our Major Sites.

We Are a Global Business Area and Work in an International Context, Which Will Require Travelling, and You Need to Feel Confident in Both Speaking and Writing in English.
