Satellite Systems Engineer for Vimotek

Vimotek is seeking a highly skilled system solutions architect to join our team. As a key member of our space application engineering team, you'll be responsible for developing system solutions for space applications related to the Vimotek Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) Kit. Your expertise will help us drive innovation and deliver exceptional products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze use-cases and define operational concepts (ConOps) for space applications.
- Develop requirements for space applications and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their missions and transfer requirements to the engineering team.
- Support testing efforts, including environmental testing and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, to ensure the performance and reliability of space applications.
Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience in space system engineering with a solid understanding of spacecraft, satellite systems, and mission operations.
- Exceptional technical writing skills and ability to create clear documentation for complex systems and software.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with customers and multidisciplinary development teams.
- Python programming skills for simulations of mission scenarios in a digital twin environment.
