We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Mary Washington Healthcare. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians and staff.
About the Position
This is a full-time position that requires strong organizational and communication skills. You will be responsible for providing general nursing care to patients, obtaining and documenting patient vitals, performing EKG strips, and assisting with examinations and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver High-Quality Patient Care
You will provide general nursing care to patients, including obtaining and documenting patient vitals, performing EKG strips, and assisting with examinations and procedures.
Support Physicians and StaffYou will assist physicians, physician assistants, or nurse practitioners with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
Ensure Accurate DocumentationYou will obtain patient history, chief complaint, and vitals, and document this information in the medical record.
Requirements
- Valid LPN License from Virginia
A valid license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Virginia is required.
AHA BLS Provider CPR CertificationCertification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required at the time of hire.
