We are a part of Inter IKEA Group, which includes the product development centre IKEA of Sweden. Our company manages various institutions, including IKEA Museum, IKEA Hotell, Aktivitetshuset in Älmhult, and IKEA Property. As the Head of Collections, you will contribute to our mission of making the concept of the museum more accessible to more people.

Your Role:
• Lead and maintain the museum's collection through research, acquisitions, and exhibitions
• Plan and prepare exhibitions and education/learning initiatives
• Initiate and lead acquisitions needed to maintain and keep the collection relevant and of high quality
• Work closely with stakeholders to develop engaging experiences for visitors
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and other interested parties

Key Qualifications:
• In-depth knowledge of furniture design from both historical and contemporary perspectives
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience in collection management and acquisitions
• University degree in design, architecture, or museum studies (preferred)
• Deep passion for furniture design and its history
