Hitachi Energy, Ludvika, is a leader in electrical infrastructure for a sustainable energy future. Our team of experts is dedicated to developing next-generation control systems for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) projects. We are seeking a skilled IT/OT System Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure control systems, focusing on OT - HMI, SCADA, and automation aspects. Your expertise in human machine interface design, Aveva platform, Micro Scada, and SCADA automation will be crucial in delivering successful projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for building complete infrastructure of networks and systems to support operations, ensuring they contain defined levels of cybersecurity.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in computer science or a related field. Experience with scripting languages, automation technologies, and cybersecurity principles is essential. Good verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English, and comfort in customer discussions are also necessary. Familiarity with Microsoft client- and server operating systems, AD, and security relevant systems is beneficial.
