Job Title: Teamcenter Solutions Architect

Overview

The Teamcenter Solutions Architect will design and develop solutions that meet business requirements.

This individual will have experience in mapping business requirements to the PLM/Teamcenter framework, troubleshooting product and technology limitations, and coordinating project development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Development: Coordinate functional groups to gather requirements and drive To-Be system design with all stakeholders.
  2. PLM Requirements Mapping: Map PLM requirements to the Teamcenter framework.
  3. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot product and technology limitations and issues.
  4. Project Coordination: Coordinate and drive project development and the development team.
  5. Best Practices: Incorporate PLM/Teamcenter Development Best Practices.
Background Requirements

Teamcenter Knowledge: Knowledge in Teamcenter UA Product such as Engineering Data Management, BOM Management Workflow, BOM Management, Change Management, and more.

Business Requirements Mapping: Skills in mapping business requirements to the PLM/Teamcenter framework.

Teamcenter Solution Design: Teamcenter Solution Designing for both Client and Server and integration with third-party applications such as SAP4Hana, NX, and ECAD Tools.

Active Workspace Configuration: Experience in Active Workspace configuration and customization, Teamcenter architecture, and Data Model configuration.

Clients and Servers Installation: Experience in installing and configuring 2-Tier & 4-Tier clients, file management server, dispatcher server & CAD integration.

Problem-Solving: Basic problem-solving skills to resolve application issues, troubleshoot, and conduct root cause analysis.

Coding and Architecture: Good coding & architecture skills, Teamcenter client-server customization, Teamcenter services SOA customization.

International Setting: Proficient in English since you will be part of an international setting where you will exchange knowledge with people from all over the world.

Specific Requirements

Multi BOM Management: Have experience of Multi BOM Management in TC and AWC latest versions.

RAC to AWC Transition: Understand how to move from RAC to AWC world (knowing the soul of TC AWC data model and Multi BOM Management capability).

ETO World Understanding: Understand Multi BOM management in ETO world.

Large Solutions Understanding: Understand large solutions, products in products, like power stations, plants, and ships.

Ecosystem Model Understanding: Understand that this type of solution has an ecosystem model that contains a lot of external designs, external production in multiple suppliers/multiple locations, some internal production, production in multiple locations.

Language Skills

Programming Language: C/C++ programming language and TC server-side (ITK & SOA) customization.

Declarative UI Configuration: Declarative UI configuration (Active Workspace) and customization.

Web Technologies: Good knowledge of web technologies e.g., XSLT, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, Teamcenter ITK, SOA programming, web methods & web service architecture.
