We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Component Engineer to join our team at Perido AB. As a full-time consulting assignment until 2025-12-31, this role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop your expertise in electronics hardware development.

About the Position:

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining electronic components for handheld professional products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware components.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings, review plans and progress, work in 3-week sprints using JIRA, break down projects, and manage backlogs.
  • Lead and participate in team meetings to allocate tasks and discuss progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review schematics and layouts using Orcad Cadence and Catia Electric.
  • Conduct simulations using tools like Pi Spice.
  • Manage the entire hardware development process, from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with System Engineering on system solutions and hardware architecture.
  • Provide support for product certifications and address any related issues.
  • Collaborate with EMS partners for manufacturing and ensure product integration.
  • Lead product improvement initiatives and perform ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and support testing for prototypes.

Requirements:

  • Experience in electronics construction and hardware development.
  • Proficiency in Orcad Cadence, Catia Electric, and familiarity with Pi Spice.
  • Knowledge of analog and digital components, motor control, and various sensors.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Strong project management skills, including sprint planning and backlog management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot during testing.
  • Interest in radio technology and familiarity with EMC considerations.
