About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced project manager to lead our automation department in delivering HVDC transmission projects from tender stage to completion.
As a project automation specialist, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers representing different technical disciplines, ensuring good interaction, coordination, and information flow between all project stakeholders.
You will also manage multiple contracts with customers and sub-suppliers, work closely with project directors, controllers, planners, and contract managers to manage the project and periodically report and present status and progress in review sessions.
Travel is required, representing Hitachi Energy in the best possible light, while being a positive role model for your team and beyond by living Hitachi Energy's Leadership Pillars.
Required Skills:
- Technically proficient project management or commercially proficient project engineering experience from projects in the energy sector, preferably substations, FACTS, or HVDC.
- Strong sense of business, comfortable with customer meetings and technical negotiations, interested in and understands contracts, and a strong sense of responsibility for safety and business ethics.
- Passion for people and technology, ability to deliver successful projects depends on teams' and their abilities to function and collaborate in dynamic environments.
