As the Head of Financial Crime Prevention at Brite, you will lead our financial crimes team and oversee all aspects of our financial crime prevention operations. This critical role involves managing, developing, and growing our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our first-line risk work, including merchant Know Your Customer (KYC), is conducted in accordance with external and internal rules.
  • Policy Development: Regularly update policies and manuals to reflect current laws and regulatory requirements, ensuring our AML/Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CTF) efforts remain effective and compliant.
  • Reporting and Transparency: Provide regular updates on the status of AML/CTF activities to the Board of Directors and Executive Management, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Global Risk Management: Supervise our global KYC, AML/CTF, counterparty risk, and sanctions screening policies, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive approach to AML across the company.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for external stakeholders, including banks and authorities, fostering strong, cooperative relationships.
  • Suspicious Activity Reporting: Coordinate the reporting of suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities, upholding our commitment to combating financial crimes.
  • Compliance Training: Establish and maintain a comprehensive AML/CTF compliance training program for the entire firm, promoting a culture of awareness and compliance.

You will be responsible for managing cross-functional projects, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.

Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in AML/CTF roles, with a strong background in managing teams and overseeing KYC, transaction monitoring operations, and fraud operations.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing AML and CTF, with the ability to navigate and adapt to changing regulatory landscapes.

They will also possess excellent writing and communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Brite offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will have the possibility to make an impact from your first day onwards.

An estimated $120,000 - $180,000 per year salary is available for this position, depending on location and qualifications.
