Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure consistent access to high-quality raw materials and components.
  • Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Oversee supplier performance and take proactive measures to ensure timely delivery and compliance with company standards.
  • Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging raw materials to strengthen procurement strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure materials align with product specifications, regulatory standards, and company goals.
  • Assess and manage risks in the supply chain, including geopolitical risks and material shortages.
  • Oversee inventory management and logistics to ensure efficient stock levels and minimize production delays while optimizing costs.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the raw materials or energy sectors.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with industrial chemicals, battery materials, and regulatory requirements such as REACH and sustainability practices.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in procurement within the battery or related industry.
