Neko has developed a new medical scanning technology concept to make it possible to do broad and non-invasive health data collection that is both convenient and affordable for the public. About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiologist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing, assessing, and managing cardiovascular conditions while contributing to medical advancements and product development. You will work closely with patients, healthcare professionals, and the development team to ensure high-quality care and innovative solutions in the cardiovascular field.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Interpret ultrasound images of the heart and vessels to provide accurate diagnoses.
- Interpret ECG (second opinion).
- Act as an expert in the cardiovascular field, providing medical assessments and guidance.
- Evaluate and assess cardiovascular follow-ups to monitor patient progress.
- Contact patients or healthcare members if further medical consultation is needed.
- Issue referrals when necessary to ensure patients receive appropriate specialist care.
- Develop and propose medical action plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Research & Development Contributions:
- Play an active role in product development, offering medical insights and expertise.
- Participate in validation testing to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of cardiovascular tools and solutions.
- Establish and refine protocols, ensuring best practices in cardiovascular diagnostics and treatment.
- Design and implement action plans and routines for improved patient care and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Medical degree with specialization in Cardiology.
- Valid license to practice medicine in Sweden (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Experience in cardiovascular imaging, particularly ultrasound interpretation.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in cardiovascular assessments.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical and development professionals.
- Interest in innovation and medical technology, contributing to new healthcare solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.
Time Commitment:
Part time, 4-8 hours per week, on-site mostly
Ideal start date: April 2025
