Step into a pivotal role where your work has a real and lasting influence – apply today to become our Group Information Security ControllerAbout the role As the Group Information Security Controller, you will be a cornerstone of our Group Information Security team, responsible for managing and evolving our Information Security Management System (ISMS) in alignment with ISO 27001 standards. Reporting directly to the CISO, you’ll oversee a wide range of responsibilities with a global scope, ensuring that Stena AB remains secure and prepared for the challenges of today and tomorrow. Based in Gothenburg, with some travel required, this role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with various business areas within the Stena Group.What We Offer

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Monitoring and assessing information and technology risks.
- Managing the security control framework and driving continuous improvement of the ISMS.
- Conducting internal audits and coordinating the ITGC audits, which are also required by the external auditors.
- Providing guidance and governance to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Leading security awareness initiatives and fostering a culture of security across the organisation.
- Reporting findings, insights, and recommendations.

With over three years of experience in the IT industry, you bring knowledge of Information Security frameworks, particularly ISO 27001. A solid understanding of IT infrastructure and a genuine interest in the role are key to succeeding and thriving with us. While certifications like CISA or CISSP are not mandatory, they are considered a plus and reflect a commitment to professional development. Most importantly, we value your potential, drive to grow, and passion for contributing to a secure and innovative IT environment.

The Information Security team is part of the Corporate Governance function that focuses on continuous development and improvement within primarily information security, regulatory compliance and financial reporting, The work is risk based and the function also covers enterprise risk management, governing documents like the Code of Conduct and Code of Governance, brand protection, investigations and more.
