Are you interested in being our expert in the field of toxicology? And do you have a university degree or PhD in toxicology? Then you might be the new Toxicologist to join our team within Nouryon.

About the job

In this role you will make an important contribution to the execution of the business strategy and the success of Nouryon. You will contribute with toxicological expertise in product safety and regulatory compliance work related to substance registrations. Commissioning, monitoring and validating studies to be used for hazard assessments and act as Study Monitor for guideline studies in GLP compliant research laboratories.

In your future role you will

- Be an expert in the field of toxicology
- Provide support and solutions in connection with hazard testing for regional/global registrations
- Conduct human health hazard and risk assessments, and support new product development
- Work with various stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Be based in Sweden but work in an international Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) environment, reporting to the team lead (eco)toxicology, based in Deventer, the Netherlands.

We believe you bring

- University (MSc) degree or PhD in toxicology
- 5 years of working experience in regulatory toxicology in the chemical industry
- Proven experience of test methods used in toxicology including higher tier testing, in hazard and risk assessments for regulatory purposes
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written

Great if you have

- Working experience with the IUCLID database and QSAR
