Financial Controller

Reporting into the Financial Control Manger, in this role, you will enable the business to drive their priorities. Your primary responsibility will be budgeting, forecasting and the financial reporting process for one of Inter IKEA’s Digital Areas. The role will be working closely with Business Navigation Managers and many business stakeholders to ensure data quality in financial figures and support financial processes in the assigned business areas.

To excel in this role you are motivated to work with and analyse number and figures and to find insights. You enjoy budling strong relations and networks. You are goal- and delivery oriented, with a drive for accuracy and excellence. You enjoy creating structure, simplifying complex issues and striving for improved efficiency. You are interested in processes, interdependencies and cause & effect relationships. Committed to finding root causes and implementing corrective actions.

To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills and experiences would be valuable:

- Strong financial analytics skills and attention to detail.
- Being proactive and not afraid to take the initiative and drive improvement topics.
- Computer literacy, including the ability to work with various IT systems and digital tools, such as SAP-BPC, SAP-SAC, and Power BI.
- Strong communication skills, including active listening and the ability to communicate complex issues in a simple, clear, engaging and inspirational way.
- The ability to prioritize, set goals and follow-up and secure delivery and achievements for yourself and the business.
- Good understanding of principles and practices for stakeholder management.
- A positive approach and constructive contribution.
- Broad business perspective and ability to quickly gain understanding of business situations and identify root causes.
- Post-secondary education in finance or accounting or equivalent combination of education and 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong verbal and written English language skills.

This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and will be based in Malmö. This role sits in the Finance & Operations function and reports to Finance Control manager.
