Backend (AWS) Developer

Navigraph is currently looking for a Backend Developer to join our Sim dev team in central Stockholm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work in a developer team in a mid-size company, serving a large and passionate user base worldwide. What We’re Looking For We need someone with experience across the full stack who loves solving challenges, writing clean, efficient code and an eye for details. Required Skills - Proven record of building and maintaining robust software - Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases - Proficiency with backend development and system design - Proficiency with managing cloud infrastructure - preferably AWS - Proficiency working with DevOps - Fluent in written and spoken English Bonus Skills - Experience with React - Experience with frontend development - Understanding of principles in navigation and geography - Passion for flight simulation and aviation - Experience with flight simulator avionics What You Could Be Doing - Work with high-volume, real-time flight data streams, supporting detailed visualisation and analysis - Work with our extensive cloud-native processing pipelines, optimizing and improving our workflows - Develop and maintain APIs that provide 3rd parties and in-house applications with valuable navigation datasets, ranging from navigation data to real-time simulator traffic insights. - Ensure that Navigraph remains top-of-mind for new and well-established simulator add-on developers through innovations in developer experience and first-class direct developer support - Shape the infrastructure and CI/CD processes around our projects - Develop and maintain flight simulator integrations, often as part of research-focused projects that aim to bridge the gap to the real world - Design, develop and maintain the backends of our products.
