The UX team is growing and we are now looking for a Service Designer with a strong focus on UX & UI Design—someone who can work across the full spectrum of service design, from high-level system thinking to detailed interaction flows and UI components. If you are passionate about turning complexity into clarity and designing seamless user experiences in healthcare, this is your chance to make a difference.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of UX, strategy, and healthcare innovation. As a Service Designer at RaySearch Laboratories, you will shape the future of oncology software, from hospital-wide systems to detailed UI components. You will apply design thinking at multiple levels, from big-picture strategy to detailed UI interactions, and be part of a strong UX team that values both usability and visual design. About the role

As a Service Designer at RaySearch Laboratories, you will work at both a strategic and operational level, shaping the way our oncology software supports clinicians and hospitals worldwide. You will be responsible for mapping end-to-end service ecosystems, designing user interactions at different levels, and ensuring that our solutions meet real-world clinical needs.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a complex and regulated domain and is comfortable navigating both the big picture and the fine details—from conceptualizing hospital-wide oncology information systems to designing precise UI components and workflows for clinicians.

You will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team of UX designers, clinical specialists, developers, and product managers, working towards a harmonized user experience across multiple products.

Responsibilities

• Design workflows and UI for complex healthcare systems, ensuring smooth integration across services and roles.

• Create blueprints, user journeys, and modular solutions that scale across hospital environments.

• Identify gaps and propose innovative improvements based on user insights and system-level thinking.

UX Design & Prototyping

• Translate concepts into intuitive, testable experiences through user flows and prototypes.

• Collaborate with clinicians and stakeholders to define and validate role-specific interactions.

• Evolve UI components in alignment with our design system and real-world use.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and regulatory teams to ensure quality and compliance.

• Drive co-creation and ensure research insights lead to actionable product improvements.

• Promote user-centered methods and align teams around shared design goals.
