Job Title: Head of Projects (HoP)

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Head of Projects to join the team located in Stockholm, Sweden.

The purpose of the role is to:

* · Achieve safe and successful delivery of all project management and construction management services in Sweden
* · Have overall responsibility for generating a sales pipeline to achieve financial targets.
* · Ensure projects are secured and delivered on time and within the financial requirements and margins as specified by the business.
* · Ensure that all projects adhere and are managed to commercial agreements / contracts. They must comply with statutory regulations, are QHSE compliant and meet technical industry standards.
* · Build a high performing principal project team delivering best in class services to Enterprise Clients
* · Ensure projects are delivered on all maintenance contracts.
* · Complete projects on time and on budget and to the satisfaction of all parties.
* · Maximise profit through cost reductions and better buying of subcontractor services.
* · Identify and win project through effective relationships.
* · Deliver Life Cycle Maintenance, Critical engineering and refresh/upgrade projects across Sweden

Role Summary

General Activities:

* · 60% of this role is dedicated to one large client based in Kista, Stockholm and will require 2 days a week based in their offices.
* · 40% of this role will be split across several other Enterprise clients in the region.
* · Increase the Principal business offering to our clients across the Scandinavia region
* · Focus on delivery and governance initially, as the pipeline develops the role will shift to focus on building a high performing team to deliver region wide
* · The role will require travel across the region depending on client requirements, however this only accounts for 40% of the role with the main focus into one client.
* · Ensure the safe delivery of projects through the management of risk and competence.
* · Recruit and retain talent for the present delivery and future growth of projects.
* · Provide leadership in identifying and solutioning project opportunities.
* · Deliver contractual commitments on secured projects.
* · Ensure projects are delivered on all maintenance contract I the region.
* · Complete projects on time and on budget and to the satisfaction of all parties.
* · Identify, reduce and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with each and every project.
* · Maximise profit through cost reductions and better buying of subcontractor services.
* · Identify and win project through effective relationships.
* · Deliver supportive business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other applications as appropriate
* · Promote and maintain the core values of CBRE.

Skills Required

* Proven track record of leading and growing projects business.

* Track record of successfully managing large complex projects (up to $10M) with extensive hands-on project management experience within Construction / FM industry.

* Ability to inspire and lead a Projects business unit in the Corporate environment

* Customer awareness and relationship management skills.

* Ability to identify the need for and successfully manage change.

* Ability to communicate across all levels of the business including effective written and oral communication.

* Demonstrate previous experience of business development and accountability for financial success.

* Demonstrate previous experience of contract negotiation.

* A minimum of 10 years' experience working for blue chip companies in a customer facing capacity.

* Bachelor's Degree; Chartered Building Surveyor; CIOB, Chartered Engineer (Construction, Mechanical, Electrical and/or Civil

* Good IT skills (MS Project, Word, Excel, MS Outlook)

* Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing

* Understanding of best-in-class CAPEX planning
