Mycronic has experienced strong growth in recent years, both organically and through acquisitions. Headquartered in Sweden, Mycronic is a global organization with subsidiaries, agents, and distributors in over 50 countries. The company is structured into four divisions, and in this role, you will be part of the Assembly Solutions High Flex (HF) division. This division develops equipment and solutions for surface mounting, catering to electronics manufacturers with high demands for rapid production adaptation while maintaining efficiency and customers operate in industries such as aerospace and automotive among others. The High Flex division currently consists of approximately 450 employees globally, with around 170 working specifically in R&D. Your team will include 9 members, both mechanical engineers, mechatronics engineers, electronics engineers, whom you will collaborate daily. In addition to your team, you will also collaborate with R&D colleagues in Japan, Germany, and France, as well as in-house production teams and, to some extent, external suppliers. Work tasks

You will take part in the entire development chain, from requirements specification to design and implementation, while working with a diverse range of materials, including welded and machined iron structures, aluminum components, and plastics. In this role, you will manage multiple parallel projects and work with both new development, maintenance and improvement of existing solutions and redesigning of current products. Examples of projects include designing plastic components for mass production or developing moving shafts for high-speed applications that require strict vibration resistance. Your responsibilities will span the entire process, from concept development and material selection to testing, verification, and final implementation.

- A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanics, mechatronics, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, covering the entire development life cycle
- Experience with series production
- Strong knowledge in CAD, Mycronic uses SolidWorks
- Strong proficiency in English and good knowledge of Swedish (or a willingness to learn)
