Modern vehicles have evolved beyond mere transportation; they now function as advanced data hubs, exchanging information between cars, infrastructure, and passengers. Our team is dedicated to developing and enhancing the Secure Gateway—a solution ensuring that only trusted data is allowed to interact with the vehicle. Using cutting-edge technology, we tackle emerging threats through innovations like deep packet inspection, enhanced by AI and ML. As we embark on building the next-generation mobility platform, we’re setting the foundation for the most secure vehicles on the road, resilient against future cybersecurity challenges.
What You'll Do
As a Product Owner within the Secure Gateway team, you will be responsible for managing the product backlog and shaping the roadmap. You will coordinate the team's operational planning, ensuring alignment with our objectives. Engaging closely with other teams and stakeholders across Volvo Cars, you will bring their perspectives into the product domain, shaping the evolution of our security solutions.
Staying at the forefront of trends in cybersecurity, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled and collaborative team, whose shared goal is to uphold and advance the security of our products. Your role will also involve fostering an environment of knowledge-sharing and support, which is central to our team's success.

You bring an understanding of what it means to be a Product Owner, are familiar with cybersecurity technology and embedded systems, and have experience working in agile environments. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English are essential. While experience in the automotive industry, hands-on software development, and knowledge of AI/ML are a plus, what truly matters is your enthusiasm and commitment to making Volvo’s vehicles the most secure on the road.
