Senior Safety Engineer

The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Safety Engineer at Worley to help deliver safe and efficient projects for clients in the oil & gas, chemical, and green industries. You’ll use your expertise to ensure projects meet safety standards, reduce risks, and foster a safety-first culture within a supportive, talented team. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll provide technical support and leadership, tackling meaningful challenges and contributing to innovative solutions. You will be part of a company that values your growth and expertise.

You'll be:

- Lead process safety engineering services, including risk assessments, safety case development, and safety system design.
- Analyze fire, explosion, and gas dispersion risks and find ways to reduce them.
- Manage and plan HSE operations, combining engineering and safety knowledge to ensure safe project delivery.
- Provide technical support to your team and collaborate with colleagues across engineering disciplines.
- Stay updated on industry trends and ensure safety standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

You'll have:

- A degree in Chemical Engineering or similar.
- Extensive experience in process safety engineering, ideally in oil & gas, chemical, or green industries.
- Knowledge of risk assessments, safety system design, and fire/explosion analysis.
- Strong HSE operations experience and solid decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.
- Fluent in English, with Swedish as an advantage.
