You’ll be working with some of the most senior people, to establish business value and future direction. You’ll have a unique opportunity to understand the bigger picture. Role Overview:
- Advisor for planning, designing, implementing, and supporting business transformation programs of clients, including transformation assessment, framework development & implementation, new products design, digital & sales technology tools.
- Problem solver, providing solutions on specific areas of transformation initiatives, for example digital enablement, business improvement and operations infrastructure optimization.
- Working together with Leadership on devising business strategies aimed at improving sales productivity, process standardization, digital tool adoption, and overall business performance improvement.
- Working with a team, to provide end-to-end solutions including process analysis and design, requirements planning, business case development.
- Contributor to business development with shadow P&L responsibility and thought leadership for the consulting business unit through participation in areas such as training, methodology and toolkit development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish credentials as a trusted advisor with customer stakeholders
- Ideate with customers to create proactive and innovative proposals around business problems
- Set up vision and strategic goals for the consulting business for the assigned industry vertical / region in alignment with larger goals
- Work with internal stakeholders (regional and vertical sales teams, other service lines) to develop and execute an annual business plan
- Engage with sales, delivery and account teams to support revenue growth in targeted existing and new accounts through proactive proposals and RFP responses
- Drive consulting marketing agenda in the assigned industry vertical / target accounts
- Evaluate market needs, competition landscape, to identify & propose new consulting capabilities and services for the specific needs of the industry vertical / region
- Provide governance, oversight and lead, if required, consulting engagements in the assigned industry vertical / region
- Hire / motivate / mentor consulting team to meet business goals
- Personally contribute in establishing thought leadership for the consulting practice in the region and globally
Education or Work Experience:
- Experience as Sr. Manager/ Director in a Consulting firm of repute.
- Track record of delighting clients through outstanding consultative work
- Experience of working at the front end of technology solution-ing building use cases and business case
- Experience in leading workshops for complex problem-solving using approaches like design thinking
- Experience in building up a consulting team (hiring / mentoring etc)
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a leading school
- IT Services industry expert with specialization in one or more areas - Industrial Machinery / Automotive / Pharma / Process (chemical industry), Retail, Healthcare, Finance etc.
- Demonstrated experience in leading consulting engagements blending strategy, operating models, and technology, to delivering new age propositions across the business value chain.
- Well-developed core consulting skills of research, analysis, presentation, and attention to detail
- Aptitude to grasp new concepts and effectively produce results.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills – an analytical, innovative, and creative mindset
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be self-directed and be an independent contributor to the team.
- Native local language speaker
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA from a leading business school
- 12-15+ years of consulting experience
- Strong facilitation skills; excellent oral and written business communication skills
- Experience of working in Agile
- Proficiency with Process modeling tools such as ARIS / Visio / Bizagi
- Lean & Six Sigma Certifications (Preferred, not mandatory)
- Ability to lead teams with a sound work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and exceptional client service.

- Ability to structure and manage intensive workloads.
- A worthy team player, dedicated to contributing toward the outcome desired by the team.
- High degree of emotional intelligence to effectively deal with increasingly diverse clients and teams.
