We are looking for an Enterprise Architect who would be part of our CIO Team in Tietoevry Corporate Business Services (CBS). Tietoevry CBS focuses on bringing together core capabilities to enable and accelerate business performance. We play a vital part in the implementation of Tietoevry's strategy and supporting the distinct success paths of our end-to-end businesses, through delivering high-quality services at scale and fostering an exceptional culture.

When joining Tietoevry CBS as an Enterprise Architect

You will join a skilled team at the CIO Office, where you will learn new things with your colleagues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architectural teams in Businesses, to support overall company objectives.

This role is critical for Tietoevry in ensuring that the enterprise’s IT infrastructure and technology support its strategic business needs effectively, efficiently, and securely. It is also key to participate in designing and overseeing the overall structure and architecture of a future landscape of IT systems, aligning them with business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing Enterprise Architecture Framework:

- Create and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture framework to ensure consistency and integration across the organization’s IT systems and business processes.

- Utilize industry-standard frameworks such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) or Zachman Framework.

Strategic Planning and Alignment:

- Collaborate with senior leadership to align the IT strategy with the organization’s business strategy.

- Develop long-term IT strategies to ensure scalability, flexibility, and alignment with business growth and transformation.

Technology Assessment and Selection:

- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies that could improve the organization’s operational effectiveness.

- Assess new IT tools, systems, and platforms to support business needs.

Governance and Compliance:

- Establish and enforce architectural governance, ensuring that IT projects adhere to the enterprise architecture framework.

- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and industry standards.

Designing Architecture Models:

- Design and document architectural models, blueprints, and diagrams to represent the IT infrastructure, systems, and processes.

- Create roadmaps for evolving the architecture in line with future business and technology changes.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

- Work closely with other IT teams (such as development, operations, and security) to ensure the architecture meets technical, security, and business needs.

- Liaise with business leaders to understand requirements and ensure IT investments and solutions align with strategic business objectives.

Risk Management:

- Identify and mitigate risks related to IT architecture, data management, and system integration.

- Ensure disaster recovery, business continuity, and other risk management protocols are incorporated into architecture design.

Project Management Support:

- Provide guidance and support to IT project teams, ensuring that new solutions fit within the architecture and adhere to defined standards.

- Oversee architecture reviews for major IT projects, ensuring compliance with design principles.

Continuous Improvement:

- Continuously assess the performance and effectiveness of existing systems and processes.

- Drive innovation and process improvements to enhance the organization’s technological capabilities.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, cloud platforms, security, and data management.

- Architectural Methodologies: Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align IT systems and infrastructure with business strategies and long-term goals.

- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Problem Solving: Ability to analyze complex systems, identify challenges, and propose effective solutions.

- Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing relationships with various business units and stakeholders.

- Certifications (optional but advantageous): TOGAF, Azure Solutions/Power Platform Expert, or similar certifications in enterprise architecture.

Education and Experience:

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.

- Several years of experience in IT roles, with a proven track record in architecture, systems design, or enterprise architecture.

- Experience in leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and technology integrations is preferred.
