About the role

Northmill Bank is seeking a seasoned Credit Analyst with extensive expertise in real estate financing. The ideal candidate has experience in underwriting large loans secured by real estate, preferably including construction loans, as well as commercial experience managing a portfolio of customers.

This role also includes responsibility for the bank's corporate lending department, targeting a 1 billion SEK portfolio growth in 2025. Initially, you will oversee a team of three senior analysts, with the expectation to build and enhance the department's capabilities to ensure efficient and effective operations. You will report directly to Northmill Bank’s Chief Lending & Analytics Officer and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the bank's corporate lending strategy.

Responsibilities

- Underwrite loans secured by real estate, ensuring thorough risk assessment and compliance.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Lending Department, driving performance and efficiency.
- Chair the bank's Credit Underwriting Committee, leading decision-making on loan approvals.
- Develop and enhance operational capabilities to ensure seamless, efficient, and effective processes.

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst with a proven track record in underwriting real estate loans. The ideal candidate brings extensive banking experience and deep expertise in real estate financing.

- A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics.
- At least 10 years of experience in real estate financing.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, including the Capital Requirements Directive.
- Proven experience in managing distressed assets and loan workouts.
