About the role

Join our expanding Engagement area and play a key role in the Application Services team as a Full-stack Developer creating, expanding and maintaining web as well as mobile apps that make for an exceptional Aira experience. The focus of the Application Services team is to create world-class product-driven software for both: our customers – end users of Aira’s green energy tech – and our internal users such as Aira heat pump installers. On one hand, these apps need to be clean, easy to use and intuitive to enable effortless UX. However, at the same time, they must integrate, distribute, and efficiently manage multi-channel live data points (including IoT) and offer them internally via APIs to enable Aira product readiness in daily operations and support customers in making informed energy decisions.

What you will be doing

- Writing, maintaining and enhancing clean, scalable code including thorough testing
- Using Kotlin to design, implement and maintain back-end services that serve the app and distribute the data in microservice architecture

- experience in Kotlin is nice to have – experience in similar modern languages such as Java, Go or NodeJS is sufficient

- Building real-time streaming data pipelines and real-time streaming applications with Kafka
- Collaborating with other Aira Engagement teams (Connectivity, IoT), and implementing integrations with e.g., external energy tariffs providers and upcoming projects related to expanding Aira green tech solutions portfolio
- Demonstrating expertise in system architecture, (relational and non-relational) database design, AWS cloud operations as well as building and integrating APIs
- Contributing to the implementation of app features using Flutter, including handling user accounts, providing, and supporting integrations with Identity Providers for both installers and customers

- Flutter proficiency is nice to have, experience in other enterprise-grade front-end toolsis fine for collaborating back-to-front

- Actively engaging in ongoing discussions regarding design and device lifecycles
- Applying Agile methodologies and collaborating in cross-functional teams
