Responsibilities:

In the role as Head of Group Accounting, you will have overall responsibility for the Group's accounting, financial reports and its processes. The group includes a handful of legal entities that you must independently consolidate, and the work is done in the group reporting system Cognos Controller. You will work closely with finance functions within the Polarium Group both in Sweden and internationally, as well as with the parent company's finance function. You will be based in central Stockholm with our office located in Hagastaden.

Your main tasks will be:

1. Consolidation and quality assurance of the Group's legal monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (IFRS)
2. Preparation of key figures and reporting
3. Annual Report and Interim Reports in accordance with IFRS
4. Responsible for tax from a consolidated financial perspective, including transfer-pricing
5. System owner for the group reporting system Cognos Controller
6. Implement and improve routines, processes and working methods
7. Accounting projects at group level
8. Regulatory issues
9. Contact with external auditors

Who are you:

To succeed in the role of Head of Group Accounting at Polarium, you must be driven, analytical, and goal-oriented, with a profound interest in accounting. You should have a can-do attitude and the ability to create structure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as well as a collaborative nature that thrives in dialogue with others in the finance function. You thrive in environments where you are given the opportunity to be involved in various accounting projects and are driven by continuing to improve routines, processes and working methods.

When it comes to your experience, we see that you have an academic degree in economics and have subsequently worked for several years with group accounting, where you have had overall responsibility. An academic degree and solid experience of IFRS is a requirement. Knowledge of the Cognos Controller is an advantage, but not a requirement. You are proficient in English and Swedish in both speech and writing.
