The Pattern Generator (PG) division, which you will belong to, holds a unique position in the market as the world's leading supplier of mask writers for the production of advanced photomasks. These photomasks are used globally, providing cutting-edge production solutions for high-resolution displays and semiconductor chips. Quality assurance measuring machines for photomasks are also part of the product portfolio.

Mycronic is expanding rapidly with new customers, markets, and products. To support this growth, we are looking to expand one of our R&D teams with one Project Manager. In this role, you will be part of a team of 9 team members and except your closest team, you will also collaborate closely with several of other functions and disciplines, such as systems engineering, electronics, mechanics, optics, software, verification, purchasing, production, and installation and report to Jörgen Lundberg, Director of the Development Center.

Work tasks

This is a role for someone who wants to grow as a project manager in product development and work with project management during all phases of the product's life cycle. Research, development, purchasing, manufacturing, delivery qualification, as well as installation and product maintenance, are all managed here in Täby and you will build a broad network within the organization. The projects you will work on will involve both new products and upgrading on existing machines. You will also collaborate on customer-specific adaptations and additional functionality. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, as well as managing resources and budgets. The budgets for these projects can range from around 2 up to 50–70 million SEK per year.

This is a role for someone who thrives in a high-tech, global, and fast-changing environment, where your ability to prioritize and re-prioritize will be fully utilized. You have strong skills in building and managing relationships at all levels and you are a true team player with an open attitude and a positive mindset. Additionally, you are capable of making independent decisions, are interested in improving working methods, and are willing to contribute to the development of tools and methods.
