Academic Resource is searching for a Research Engineer / Analytical Chemist to our client, a Life Science company in Uppsala. This is a full-time consultancy assignment to the end of September. Start for the position is as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Research Engineer for our client, you will play a crucial role in Extractables and Leachables lab, where you will work with the rest of the team to perform Extractables-studies. This includes planning, performing extractions, analysis, data evaluation and reporting.

The analysis includes techniques such as LC-MS and spectra interpretation of unknowns. You will also be involved in development and improvement, both for methods and ways of working. This position will mainly involve investigating new sample preparation techniques and method development that is compatible with LC-MS.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Education: PhD or MSc with experience or courses in Analytical chemistry.

• Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience with mass spectrometry (LC-MS).

• Language Skills: Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

It is considered meritorious with:

• Experience in regulated environments such as ISO 17025 or GxP is a plus.

• Skills: Ability to interpret HRMS spectra and identify unknowns.

• Proficiency in swedish, both written and spoken.
