IES is one of Sweden's largest school groups at compulsory school level with 48 schools and around 32,000 students across the country. IES has grown steadily and maintained quality since 1993.

Internationella Engelska Skolan Huddinge is looking for a position as Spanish teachers to join us for covering our ordinary teacher who will be away for the autumn term, teaching Year 6 - Year 8.

Internationella Engelska Skolan in Huddinge opened 2013 and has about 600 students in year 6-9. We are located between Visättra and Solgård in Huddinge, which is an area undergoing major development.

We are looking for teachers with an enthusiasm for their subject, excellent classroom management, and a sincere interest in student well-being.

In addition, you will be part of a year team (arbetslag) overseeing the academic progress and well-being of students. We are looking for a positive and creative team player, who looks for solutions, shares ideas and is open to learn from others. The role also includes mentorship of 16 students.

The teaching at the school is in both Swedish and English, and we follow the Swedish national curriculum. Our student body is diverse, and to be successful in teaching at IES Huddinge you need to have a good understanding of students' differences, and the ability to adapt and plan well.

Besides the teaching you will be the mentor of 16 students. Eftersom vi undervisar både på svenska i minst hälften av vår undervisning, är det väldigt meriterande om du är utbildad i Sverige och har en svensk lärarlegitimation. Erfarenhet av att undervisa i Sverige och kunskap om LGR22 är också det meriterande.
