The SCD function includes four areas: Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics & Fulfilment, Intralogistics. Our mission is to design & secure the preconditions for a world class supply chain, run and improve everyday solutions, keep together, and optimize the development and innovation agenda.

We are now looking forward to welcome a new talent to our team as a Digital Product Leader, that will report to Joachim Hindborg.

Job Description

The assignment will specifically focus on Transport Management development area. As a Digital Product Leader, you lead development and operations of assigned digital product(s) to maximize value delivery, based on clear goals, ways of working, and performance follow-up. With that you represent the needs of the IKEA stakeholder community, the voice of the users, towards the team to ensure maximum value. You understand customer needs and validate that the developed solutions solve these needs.

Your job specific key tasks and responsibilities are:

- Accountable for managing one or more assigned digital product(s), securing running business, development, support/service performance.
- Accountable for the digital product vision and roadmap, supporting relevant process and capability goals, including life-cycle management and compliance to frameworks and standards.
- Accountable for budget, prioritization, clear and transparent goals, and plans for the digital product(s).
- Responsible to secure that the digital product(s) fulfills well defined business and user needs, including related learning offer.
- Responsible to define the digital product scope, ways of working, and performance follow-up.
- Responsible to lead both digital product development and discovery work to explore new opportunities, control cost, manage risks and dependencies, and to maximize business value.
- Responsible for managing stakeholder engagement, e.g. with suppliers, super users, or user community, depending on digital product(s).
- Responsible to identify and create measures of success to understand how the product achieves business outcomes.
- Responsible to secure that the digital product team has access to relevant insights and maintains a deep understanding of both business context and user’s reality.
- Contribute to adoption of best practice in digital product management and continually benchmark against industry standards.

In this role you will report to the Digital Product Area Manager for Delivery & Settlement, within SCD area Logistics & Fulfilment Development.

Qualifications

Are you our next Digital Product Leader? We see that you are a strong person with proven leadership and very good knowledge of the business context. You have excellent communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills and the capability to express complex and/or complicated content in a receiver oriented and structured way. You have supply chain experience and/or Retail Experience in the field of Transport management and/or Customer Fulfilment. Interdependently you can lead and deliver in projects/business cases, with timely deliverables and with high quality analysis and contribute with a holistic view, being customer centric and having the end-to-end in focus.

We see that you are highly driven by development & Innovation and constantly being on the way. You dare to think differently, and you have an agile approach and adapt as we go. You are interested in technology, digitalization and finding new ways of working and are highly motivated to do this by collaborating and interacting with different stakeholders. You show a positive attitude, are self-going, persistent, a constant desire to move business forward and motivated by taking on challenges and deliver added value to our people and Business.

From previous assignments you bring:

- Proven people leadership experience.
- Strong and proven skills in communication, stakeholder management, team working and conflict resolution.
- Experience and proven skills in setting clear objectives and steering all involved people towards achieving results.
- 5+ years of experience working in Supply Chain and/or Retail, in the field of Transport management and/or Customer Fulfilment.
- Experience of progressive and diverse experience in digital product development.
- Proven analytical skills and experience making decisions based on hard and soft data.
- A track record of getting things done and being a great IKEA colleague
