Indirect Procurement Expert

We are seeking an Indirect Procurement Expert on behalf of our client in Gothenburg. The consultant will be part of a dynamic team, working closely with various business stakeholders and suppliers to enhance procurement processes and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement sourcing strategies for indirect procurement categories, ensuring they support overall business objectives.

• Manage the process of identifying, assessing, and negotiating with suppliers to establish favorable contractual agreements.

• Offer expertise in category management, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.

• Assist key internal stakeholders in making procurement decisions while ensuring adherence to policies and industry best practices.

• Evaluate market trends and supplier capabilities to improve procurement efficiency and strategy.

• Oversee supplier relationships to enhance performance, foster innovation, and promote sustainable solutions.

Expected Deliverables:

• A well-defined procurement strategy tailored to the assigned categories.

• Supplier contracts and agreements that align with business goals and drive value.

• Reports and analysis on supplier performance, efficiency, and cost-saving opportunities.

• Risk evaluations with actionable recommendations to minimize procurement-related risks.

• Support in refining and enhancing procurement best practices and guidelines.

Requirements:

• At least four years of experience in indirect procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing.

• Proven expertise in negotiation and contract management.

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends and procurement data effectively.

• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant procurement software/tools.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
