Job Description

As a Principal Consultant within our Energy & Utilities practice, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of energy transition, infrastructure and telecom sector for our clients. Your expertise will help guide key strategic decisions, lead transformational projects, and build long-lasting relationships with top-tier clients in the energy sector. You will be responsible for driving business development, delivering complex consulting engagements, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage client engagements across the energy, infrastructure and telecom sector, ensuring delivery of high-quality, impactful solutions.
2. Develop and implement strategies that drive transformation in the energy and utilities industries, focusing on areas such as decarbonization, digitalization, and sustainability.
3. Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and go-to expert for clients’ strategic challenges.
4. Manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts, identifying new opportunities and driving business development efforts.
5. Lead and mentor a team of consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
6. Stay at the forefront of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure PA Consulting remains a leader in energy and utilities consulting.
7. Actively contribute to thought leadership, publishing insights, whitepapers, and participating in speaking opportunities.
8. Collaborate with global teams across PA Consulting’s network to bring innovative solutions to clients.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in consulting, with a focus on the energy & utilities, infrastructure or telecom sector, including experience in leadership roles.
2. In-depth knowledge of energy transition, sustainability, infrastructure, renewable energy, and digital transformation.
3. Strong track record of delivering large-scale projects that drive measurable impact for clients.
4. Excellent business development skills, with the ability to identify, cultivate, and convert new business opportunities.
5. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading and managing teams to success.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence decision-makers.
7. Fluent with reading and writing Swedish and proficiency in English.
